The term "gold rush" refers to a period of time during the 19th century there were fervent migrations of workers in areas where there was the discovery of large amounts of natural gold veins in the ground, in the territories of the United States of America in particular, but also in other places and countries.

These workers, equipped with rudimentary tools and often improvised gold hunters and digging and delved into the waters of the rivers looking for stones and debris of this precious mineral. Then they would be sold this and earned a lot of money.

In reality it was mostly a mirage, indeed a few prospectors made their fortune, while several suppliers and merchants you wealthy by taking advantage of this moment, and many were those who endured many hardships and hard times, and years of incessant work for gold in places far from home and away from civilization to obtain a very small reward.
